Scholarships

Recognising students who lead, achieve, and inspire.

SEDA College NT is committed to supporting students and families through a range of opportunities that recognise excellence and provide financial assistance. Our Scholarship Program celebrates achievement and contribution across key areas of College life, while Fee Assistance (Bursaries) are available to families experiencing genuine financial hardship.

Academic Scholarship

Academic Scholarship recognises students who demonstrate high academic achievement, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to learning.

Eligibility and Application

Scholarships are open to new and returning students who meet the selection criteria for the relevant category.

Applicants must:

  • Complete the Scholarship Application Form located below.
  • Provide supporting documentation (e.g. references, certificates, or personal statements).
  • Attend an interview if requested.

Selection and Tenure

Scholarship recipients will be selected by a panel appointed by the College. The number of scholarships awarded each year will depend on available funding.

Scholarships may provide partial or full fee remission or other forms of support as determined by the College. Continuation of a scholarship for the academic year is subject to the recipient maintaining satisfactory performance, conduct, and engagement with the College’s programs and values.

Community Scholarship

The SEDA College Community Scholarship recognises students who demonstrate a strong commitment to community service, volunteerism, and making a positive impact on others.

Eligibility and Application

Scholarships are open to new and returning students who meet the selection criteria for the relevant category.

Applicants must:

  • Complete the Scholarship Application Form located below.
  • Provide supporting documentation (e.g. references, certificates, or personal statements).
  • Attend an interview if requested.

    Leadership Scholarship recognises students who exhibit outstanding leadership qualities, initiative, and a capacity to inspire and influence their peers.

      Sport Scholarship recognises students who show exceptional dedication, talent, and achievement in sport, combined with positive conduct and integrity.

      • Provide supporting documentation (e.g. references, certificates, or personal statements).
      • Attend an interview if requested.

        Fee Assistance

        The College may offer fee assistance (bursaries) to families experiencing severe short-term financial difficulties. Due to limited funds being available, not all debtor account holders who apply for fee assistance will be successful.

        College Fee Account Holders with a genuine need who would like to be considered for fee assistance should complete a Fee Assistance Application Form, which can be requested by emailing: finance@sedacollege.nt.edu.au

        College Fee Account Holders may be asked to attend an interview to discuss their application.

        Sponsored Scholarships

        SEDA College NT partners with local businesses and organisations to offer Sponsored Scholarships, creating valuable connections between students and industry. These scholarships each have different application processes, please contact the College to discuss these opportunities. 

        DDR Australia Scholarship

        The DDR Australia Indigenous Student Scholarship was available for two students enrolled in Year 12 for 2025. This scholarship contributed to tuition, activity, resources, and SEDA Cup fees.

          Intract Australia & McMahon Services Scholarship

          The Intract Australia and McMahon Services Indigenous Student Scholarship was available to two Year 12 students in 2025. This scholarship contributed to the costs of attending the Timor-Leste Emersion Trip.

          MSS Security Scholarship

          The MSS Security Indigenous Student Scholarship was available for one student enrolled in Year 12 for 2025. This scholarship contributed to tuition, activity, and resource fees.

          Vicinity Centres Scholarship

          The Vicinity Centres Indigenous Student Scholarship was available to one Year 12 student in 2025. This scholarship contributed to tuition, activity, and resource fees. In 2026, funding will be distributed across the Indigenous Engagement Program.
