At SEDA College NT, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to achieve their goals, pursue their passions and reach their full potential.
Our Scholarship Program recognises students who demonstrate excellence, commitment and contribution across academics, leadership, community involvement and sport. In addition to College-funded scholarships, SEDA College NT works with organisations to provide additional scholarship opportunities for students.
Scholarships are designed to recognise achievement, encourage participation and support students on their educational journey.
Applications for 2027 Scholarships open in late October 2026.
SEDA College NT Scholarships
The Academic Scholarship recognises students who demonstrate high academic achievement, intellectual curiosity and a strong commitment to learning.
Applicants may demonstrate:
- Strong academic performance
- Commitment to personal growth and learning
- Consistent effort and engagement
- Initiative in pursuing educational opportunities
- A passion for achieving educational goals
The Community Scholarship recognises students who demonstrate a strong commitment to community service, volunteerism and making a positive impact on others.
Applicants may demonstrate:
- Community involvement and service
- Volunteer experience
- Commitment to helping others
- Positive contribution to local organisations
- Actions that reflect the College values
The Leadership Scholarship recognises students who exhibit leadership qualities, initiative and the ability to positively influence and inspire others.
Applicants may demonstrate:
- Leadership experience or potential
- Initiative and responsibility
- Positive influence on peers
- Commitment to personal growth and development
- Leadership within school, sport, employment or community settings
The Sport Scholarship recognises students who demonstrate exceptional dedication, talent and achievement in sport alongside positive conduct and integrity.
Applicants may demonstrate:
- Sporting achievement

- Sportsmanship and integrity
- Positive contribution to team environments
- Dedication and perseverance
Partner-Funded Scholarships
SEDA College NT partners with organisations that share our commitment to supporting young people and creating opportunities for student success. Through these partnerships, scholarships are offered to help students achieve their educational goals, pursue future pathways and reach their full potential.
Since 2025, DDR Australia has partnered with SEDA College NT to provide scholarship opportunities for Indigenous students entering their final year of secondary education. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to supporting young people, strengthening communities and creating pathways to future education, training and employment opportunities.
DDR Australia is a majority Aboriginal-owned contracting and project management company that delivers construction, infrastructure and facilities management projects across Australia. The organisation is passionate about creating opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and supporting meaningful and sustainable outcomes within the communities in which it operates.
Through the DDR Australia Indigenous Student Scholarship, eligible Year 12 Indigenous students have received support towards tuition, activity and resource fees, helping to remove barriers to education and support successful completion of their secondary education. The scholarship has been offered annually since 2025 and has supported multiple students each year.
MSS Security is one of Australia's leading security companies, providing security services, risk management and workforce solutions across a broad range of industries and communities throughout Australia.
Since 2025, MSS Security has partnered with SEDA College NT to offer the MSS Security Indigenous Student Scholarship, reflecting a shared commitment to supporting Indigenous students to achieve their educational goals and build future career pathways. Through this partnership, scholarships have been provided to assist students with the costs associated with their senior secondary education.
Apply for a Scholarship
Scholarship applications are open to both new and returning students.
Applicants are required to complete the Scholarship Application Form and provide supporting information relevant to the scholarship category they are applying for. Supporting documentation may include references, certificates, awards or personal statements.
Applicants may be required to participate in an interview as part of the selection process and may apply for one or multiple scholarship categories.
