Intract Australia & McMahon Services
Real-World Learning Opportunities in Construction & Trade
We believe connecting education with industry creates authentic learning experiences and opens doors to meaningful opportunities. Students acquire skills that support both their academic pursuits and future careers.
Intract Australia and McMahon Services have partnered with the College to provide real-world experiences, giving students a hands-on understanding of the construction and trade industries.
This partnership aims to:
- Provide meaningful and structured work-integrated learning opportunities
- Bridge the gap between education and employment for students
- Promote awareness of and access to construction and infrastructure careers, and increase the successful completion pathway of apprentices in the NT
Students in the Construction & Trade Program have the opportunity to access a range of industry experiences, including school-based worksite and workshop tours, guest speaker sessions, industry-led workshops, and programs designed to build practical knowledge and skills.
Students will also have the opportunity to participate in community projects with Intract Australia and McMahon Services, interview for one apprenticeship position with Intract Australia or McMahon Services, and undertake work experience placements on active construction sites. These experiences are subject to availability.
