Fins Up! Students Catch Dolphin Fever After Elite NRL Training Session
On Tuesday 14 April, SEDA College welcomed NRL Dolphins club leaders and women’s coaching staff ahead of the Round 7 Dolphins vs Panthers clash at TIO Stadium this Friday night.
During the youth training session, students took part in ball drills, touch football and problem-solving brain games designed to get their bodies moving and minds engaged.
Year 12 NRL student Mater Vandeleur loved the experience, saying, “The training session felt very professional. You could really see how passionate the coaches are about what they do and how much they want to see young people grow and flourish in sport. One of the key lessons I took away was how important it is to look after our own wellbeing, as it helps us perform better and be our best.”
Industry-led experiences like this provide valuable insight into the opportunities available within the sport industry, while also allowing students to build meaningful connections with industry professionals that can lead to future pathways and career opportunities.
